The campus of ZISU, where spring is much in
the air, ushered in new foreign students from Russia, Spain, Mexico, Kazakhstan
and Romania. Recently, ZISU held a welcoming ceremony for them. Related
directors from School of International Education introduced the development and
regulations of ZISU and its curriculum for foreign students in detail. Moldovan
teacher Lina from School of International Education presided the ceremony in
English and Russian, and shared her feeling about living and working in ZISU. The
representatives of pairing families and pairing students also attended the
ceremony.
In this term, School of International
Education improved working processes of foreign students affairs, and did
related adjustments in modifications of visa, fee payment, insurance in China.
In order to help foreign students adapt to life in Hangzhou, School of
International Education updated the Chinese and English written materials such
as foreign students’ handbook and accommodation guide, and carefully introduced
information of safety regulations, traffic, catering, medical care and bank in
Hangzhou. What’s more, a weekend activity “Free Tour Hangzhou” was arranged,
and pairing students will accompany foreign students to tour tea garden and
experience tea culture.
It is reported that four of these foreign
students got full scholarship of ZISU.
